She is best known for her role as Nicole Chapman on the TV series "Fame," as well as Pam Fields on the drama "Pretty Little Liars," Karen Taylor Winters on "The Young and the Restless," and Sydney Cooke on "Walker, Texas Ranger."
Her career began with the performance group The Young Americans, and she quickly rose to fame with her hit single "Trouble," which reached #1 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1988. Her most successful pop single, "Street of Dreams," hit #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1991.
