Nicollette Sheridan was born on November 21, 1963, in Worthing, Sussex, England. She is a British-born American actress known for her roles in television and film. Nicollette Sheridan began her career as a fashion model before landing a role in the short-lived ABC primetime soap opera "Paper Dolls" in 1984.
She gained prominence for her role as Paige Matheson on the CBS primetime soap opera "Knots Landing" from 1986 to 1993, for which she received two Soap Opera Digest Awards.
Nicollette Sheridan is perhaps best known for her role as Edie Britt on the ABC television series "Desperate Housewives" from 2004 to 2009, for which she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress. She also appeared in the CW's "Dynasty" reboot as Alexis Carrington from 2018 to 2019.
