Nikki Reed, born Nicole Houston Reed on May 17, 1988, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress, screenwriter, and model. She is best known for her role as Rosalie Hale in the "Twilight Saga" film series. Her early life was marked by her parents' divorce when she was just two years old, and she was raised by her mother, Cheryl Houston, a beautician, and her father, Seth Reed, a production designer.

She has an older brother, Nathan August Reed, and a younger half-brother, Joey Reed.
