American-French Actress and Film Producer

Pauline Hope Chalamet, born on January 25, 1992, in New York City, is an American-French actress and producer. She is the daughter of Nicole Flender, a real estate broker and former Broadway dancer, and Marc Chalamet, an editor for UNICEF.

She grew up in Manhattan Plaza, a federally subsidized artists' building in Hell's Kitchen, alongside her younger brother, actor Timothée Chalamet. She is bilingual in English and French, having spent her summers in Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, France, with her paternal grandparents.

Her early interest in the arts was evident as she began taking piano lessons and later attended the School of American Ballet. At the age of ten, she danced in a Broadway production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream." However, a biking accident in 2010 hindered her chances of pursuing a professional dancing career.
