She is best known for her role as Lynn Searcy on the UPN/CW sitcom "Girlfriends," which aired from 2000 to 2008. Her early years were spent in the Bahamas, where her father moved after being paralyzed in a car accident when she was three.

Her mother later moved with her children to South Florida. Persia White joined the Miami Coconut Grove Children's Theater as a teen and studied dance, acting, singing, and painting. Her career began with guest appearances on shows like "Angel," "NYPD Blue," and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," but it was her role in "Girlfriends" that brought her widespread recognition.

She has also appeared in independent films such as "Red Letters" and "Blood Dolls," and made-for-TV movies like "Operation Sandman" and "Suddenly." In addition to acting, She is a member of the band XEO3 and released her debut solo album, "Mecca," in 2009.
