Raven-Symoné

Raven-Symoné, born Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman on December 10, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia, is an American actress, singer, songwriter, and director.

She began her career as a child actress, appearing on The Cosby Show as Olivia Kendall from 1989 to 1992, and on Hangin' with Mr. Cooper as Nicole Lee from 1993 to 1997.

Her breakout role came in 2003 when she landed the lead role of Raven Baxter on the Disney Channel series That's So Raven, which ran until 2007 and earned her numerous awards.

Raven-Symoné continued her television career with the spin-off series Raven's Home, which aired from 2017 to 2023, and she also executive produced the show. Her film credits include Dr. Dolittle (1998), Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001), The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004), College Road Trip (2008), and Mighty Oak (2020).

She also voiced Monique in the animated series Kim Possible (2002-2007) and Iridessa in the fantasy film Tinker Bell (2008).

Raven-Symoné has had a successful music career. She released her debut studio album, Here's to New Dreams, at the age of seven in 1993, and followed it with Undeniable (1999), This Is My Time (2004), and her self-titled album Raven-Symoné (2008).

She also contributed vocals to several soundtracks from her Disney projects, including The Cheetah Girls (2003) and That's So Raven (2004). She married Miranda Maday in a small ceremony in June 2020 and has spoken about the importance of self-acceptance and mental health.

Throughout her career, Raven-Symoné has received several accolades, including five NAACP Image Awards, two Kids' Choice Awards, three Young Artist Awards, and four Emmy Award nominations. She was also included on VH1's list of "100 Greatest Child Stars of All Time" in 2012.
