Rebecca Romijn

Rebecca Romijn, born Rebecca Alie Romijn on November 6, 1972, in Berkeley, California, is an American actress and former model. Her father, Jaap Romijn, is Dutch, and her mother, Elizabeth Romijn (née Kuizenga), is American with Dutch ancestry.

She grew up in a creative environment; her father is a custom furniture maker, and her mother is an English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor and textbook author. She attended Berkeley High School, where she was nicknamed the "Jolly Blond Giant" due to her height of 5 feet 11 inches.

Rebecca Romijn initially pursued a career in music, studying voice at the University of California, Santa Cruz, but soon transitioned into modeling after moving to Paris.
