Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez, born Sara Elena Ramírez Vargas on August 31, 1975, in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico, is an American actress and singer known for her versatile performances on stage and screen.

She moved to the United States with her mother at the age of eight, eventually settling in San Diego, California. She discovered her passion for acting and singing while attending the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts, where she was praised for her singing talent during an audition.

Sara Ramirez pursued her acting career by studying drama at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
