Sarah Paulson

Sarah Catharine Paulson, born on December 17, 1974, in Tampa, Florida, is an American actress known for her impressive range and versatility. Raised in South Tampa, she moved to New York City with her mother and sister after her parents' divorce.

Sarah Paulson attended Manhattan's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School and later the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Early in her career, she gained recognition for her roles in the television series American Gothic (1995–1996) and Jack & Jill (1999–2001).

Her collaborations with showrunner Ryan Murphy have significantly shaped her career. She starred in nine seasons of his anthology series American Horror Story (2011–2021), earning five Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Her portrayal of Marcia Clark in the FX limited series The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story (2016) earned her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie.
