Sarah Christine Roemer, born on August 28, 1984, in San Diego, California, is an American actress and model. She began her career in the entertainment industry at the age of 15 when she was discovered by a modeling agency while buying coffee at a local 7-Eleven.

She  attended Horizon Junior and Senior High School before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her modeling career. She signed with ID Model Management in New York City and modeled for various magazines, including GQ, Cosmopolitan, Maxim, and Esquire.

Sarah Roemer made her screen debut in the indie film Wristcutters: A Love Story. She gained significant attention for her role as Lacey Kimble in the 2006 horror film The Grudge 2. However, it was her performance as Ashley Carlson in the 2007 thriller Disturbia, alongside Shia LaBeouf, that brought her widespread recognition. Disturbia was a box office success, grossing $117.8 million against a budget of $20 million.

Following this, she starred in several films, including Asylum, Fired Up!, and Hachi: A Dog's Tale, where she played the daughter of Richard Gere's character.

In addition to her film career, Sarah Roemer has appeared in various television series. She portrayed Leila Buchanan in the NBC drama series The Event and starred in the online series Chosen. Her other notable film roles include Waking Madison, The Con Artist, and Locked In, where she also served as an associate producer.

Her personal life has also garnered media attention. She married actor Chad Michael Murray in January 2015, and the couple has three children together. Despite her busy career, she  maintains a relatively private lifestyle, focusing on her family and selective acting projects.
