Sasha Alexander

Sasha Alexander, born Suzana Drobnjakovic on May 17, 1973, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress and television director. She is best known for her roles as Caitlin Todd on NCIS and Maura Isles on Rizzoli & Isles. She began acting in school productions in the seventh grade and continued through high school and college, eventually moving to New York City to perform in summer stock and Shakespeare festivals.

She graduated from the University of Southern California's School of Cinema-Television.

Her career took off with roles in short-lived series like Presidio Med and Wasteland, but she gained widespread media attention and critical praise for her role as Gretchen Witter on Dawson's Creek.

She has also appeared in films such as Yes Man (2008) and He's Just Not That Into You (2009). Sasha joined NCIS as Secret Service/NCIS Special Agent Caitlin "Kate" Todd in 2003, and her character was killed off in a dramatic season-two finale.
