Sasha Pieterse, born on February 17, 1996, in Johannesburg, South Africa, is an American actress and singer known for her role as Alison DiLaurentis in the Freeform series "Pretty Little Liars" and its spin-off "Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists."

She moved to the United States with her professional dancer parents in 2001 and was raised in Las Vegas before relocating to Los Angeles. She began her career in entertainment at a young age, modeling and appearing in commercials from the age of four.

She made her television debut at six, co-starring as Buffy Davis in the remake of the CBS sitcom "Family Affair." Her early exposure to the entertainment industry laid the groundwork for her future success.

Sasha Pieterse gained global stardom and critical acclaim for her portrayal of Alison DiLaurentis, a role that became her breakthrough performance. She continued to build her career with roles in films such as Disney Channel's "Geek Charming" (2011), the teen comedy "G.B.F." (2013), the indie film "Burning Bodhi" (2015), and the psychological thriller "The Image of You" (2024).
