Shawn Weatherly, born on July 24, 1959, in San Antonio, Texas, is an American actress and former beauty queen who won the titles of Miss South Carolina USA, Miss USA, and Miss Universe in 1980.

She was raised in Sumter, South Carolina, alongside her two brothers, Kurt and Michael, after her mother, Joanne, passed away from cancer when she was nine years old. Her father, Lt. Col. Albert Thomas Weatherly Jr., was a career officer in the United States Air Force.

Shawn Weatherly attended Clemson University, where she majored in nursing and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. Her acting career began with guest appearances on television shows such as "The Dukes of Hazzard," "The A-Team," "T.J. Hooker," and "Happy Days."

She gained wider recognition for her role as Cadet Karen Adams in the comedy film "Police Academy 3: Back in Training" (1986) and for her portrayal of Jill Riley in the first season of the TV series "Baywatch" (1989-1990). She also appeared in the horror-comedy film "Love in the Time of Monsters" (2014) and had a role in the TV series "Cold Case."

In her personal life, Shawn Weatherly married Chip Harris, president of a biotech research company, in 1994, and they have two children.
