She began her career as a stand-up comedian before transitioning to television, where she gained recognition for her role as Ramona Platt on the ABC sitcom "Less Than Perfect" from 2002 to 2006.
Sherri Shepherd is perhaps best known for her tenure as a co-host on the daytime talk show "The View" from 2007 to 2014, for which she received multiple Daytime Emmy Award nominations and won one in 2009.
