Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. a.k.a Snoop Dogg, born on October 20, 1971, in Long Beach, California, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, media personality, and actor. His journey into the spotlight began in 1992 when he collaborated with Dr. Dre on the track "Deep Cover" and later appeared on Dre's groundbreaking album, The Chronic.

His debut studio album, Doggystyle (1993), produced entirely by Dr. Dre, shot to the top of the Billboard 200.
