Stepfanie Kramer

Stepfanie Kramer, born Stephanie Lyla Kramer on August 6, 1956, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress, writer, and singer-songwriter. She is best known for her role as the tough-minded detective, "Sgt. Dee Dee McCall," on the NBC TV series Hunter.

Her strong performance not only earned her a global fan base but also turned her into an inspiration for many women.

Her professional acting career began in the late 1970s while she was still in school. She guest-starred in several television shows, such as Starsky & Hutch, Dynasty, Bosom Buddies, and Knots Landing. She graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts/West, where she later taught as a guest instructor.

In 1983, Kramer starred in the NBC sitcom We Got It Made, and her big break came in 1984 when she landed the starring role in Hunter. The show became an international hit, being broadcast for seven seasons, with Kramer starring in six of them.

Stepfanie Kramer pursued her interest in music and became part of several prestigious music projects. She released her first album, One Dream, in 1999, which contains ten adult contemporary songs, most of which were written by her.
