Susan Ward

Susan Ward, born Susan Michelle Ward on April 15, 1976, in Monroe, Louisiana, is a former American actress and model. She began her career as a model at the age of 13, moving to New York City to pursue opportunities with the prestigious Ford Modeling Agency.

Her early success in modeling paved the way for her transition into acting. Susan made her acting debut in the ABC daytime soap opera "All My Children" in 1995 and soon after appeared in the short-lived NBC teen drama "Malibu Shores" in 1996.

In late 1996, Susan Ward was cast as the virginal Meg Cummings in the NBC soap opera "Sunset Beach," a role that she played throughout the show's entire run from 1997 to 1999.

Her performance in "Sunset Beach" brought her significant recognition and opened doors for more opportunities in the entertainment industry. Her film career took off with her role as the psychotic Brittany Foster in the 2000 teen thriller "The In Crowd," followed by supporting roles in films like "Going Greek" (2001), "Shallow Hal" (2001), and "Wild Things 2" (2004).

In 2009, she landed the role of Chloe Kmetko, the mother of a young gymnast, on the ABC Family drama series "Make It or Break It," where she was part of the main cast for the show's first two seasons.

The couple has a son named Cameron Robinson, born on July 14, 2013. She retired from acting in 2012 and now lives a quieter life with her family in North Carolina.
