Suzy Parker, born Cecilia Ann Renee Parker on October 28, 1932, in Long Island City, New York, was an iconic American model and actress whose career peaked in the 1950s and 60s. Raised in a family with three older sisters, her beauty and elegance made her one of the most sought-after models of her time. Her early years were spent in Long Island and later in Highland Park, New Jersey, before moving to Florida.

Her journey into modeling began with the encouragement of her older sister, Dorian Leigh, who was also a top model. When she was about 15, Leigh insisted that Ford Modeling Agency sign her sister without even seeing her. She soon became a sensation, appearing on the covers of major fashion magazines like Harper's Bazaar and Vogue.

She worked with legendary photographers such as Richard Avedon and Horst P. Horst. In 1956, she made history as the first model to earn $100,000 a year.
