Kirsnick Khari Ball, better known as Takeoff, was an American rapper born on June 18, 1994, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He was the youngest member of the hip-hop trio Migos, which also included his uncle Quavo and close affiliate Offset.
He began his music career in 2008, initially performing under the stage name Polo Club before the group rebranded as Migos. Their first mixtape, Juug Season, was released in 2011, followed by No Label in 2012.
The group gained significant attention with the release of their single "Versace" in 2013, which was remixed by Drake and peaked at number 99 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
He released their debut studio album, Yung Rich Nation, in 2015, featuring guest appearances from Chris Brown and Young Thug. The album peaked at number 17 on the Billboard 200. The group's breakthrough came with the release of "Bad and Boujee" in 2016, featuring Lil Uzi Vert, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Despite his involvement in the song, he was not credited or featured in the music video. Migos continued their success with the release of their second studio album, Culture, in 2017, which also topped the Billboard 200 and received a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
His personal life was closely intertwined with his family, as he was raised by his mother, Titania Davenport, along with his uncle Quavo and Offset. He attended Berkmar High School in Lilburn, Georgia, and started making beats and developing rhythms in the seventh grade.
He was known for his distinctive tattoos, including a butterfly and the name "Edna" on one side of his forehead.
Throughout his career, he received two Grammy Award nominations as a member of Migos. The group's music often featured collaborations with other popular artists, and they continued to release successful albums and singles.
However, his life was tragically cut short on November 1, 2022, when he was fatally shot in Houston, Texas, at the age of 28. He was playing dice with his uncle Quavo at a bowling alley when the incident occurred.
