Tiger Woods

American Professional Golfer

Tiger Woods, born Eldrick Tont Woods on December 30, 1975, in Cypress, California, is an American professional golfer widely regarded as one of the greatest golfers of all time. He is the son of an African American father, Earl Woods, and a Thai mother, Kultida Woods.

From a young age, he displayed an extraordinary talent for golf, making his television debut at the age of two and winning his first junior tournament at the age of eight. His early success continued as he became the youngest winner of the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship at age 15 and went on to win three consecutive U.S. Amateur Championships.

Tiger Woods attended Stanford University, where he won the collegiate title in 1996 before turning professional later that year. His professional career took off rapidly, with him winning his first major, the Masters, in 1997 by a record-breaking 12 strokes.
