Tina Majorino, born Albertina Marie Majorino on February 7, 1985, in Westlake Village, California, is an American actress who began her career as a child star. She is best known for her roles in films such as "Waterworld," "Alice in Wonderland," and "Napoleon Dynamite," as well as her television performances in shows like "Veronica Mars," "Big Love," and "True Blood."

Growing up in a middle-class family, her parents, Sarah and Bob Majorino, were supportive of her artistic ambitions. Her father, a musician, and her mother, a former singer, played influential roles in nurturing her love for performance.

She has an older brother, Kevin, with whom she formed a rock band called The AM Project.

Her career began in 1992 when she appeared in the sitcom "Camp Wilder" at the age of seven. Her breakthrough came in 1994 with roles in "When a Man Loves a Woman," "Corrina, Corrina," and "Andre."

She gained further recognition for her role as Enola in the 1995 action film "Waterworld" and as Alice in the 1999 television film "Alice in Wonderland."
