Trini Alvarado, born Trinidad Alvarado on January 10, 1967, in New York City, is an American actress best known for her role as Margaret "Meg" March in the 1994 film adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's novel "Little Women."

She is of Puerto Rican and Spanish descent, with her mother being a flamenco dancer and her father a flamenco singer. She began her career at a young age, joining her family's dance troupe and making her show business debut at the age of seven. She attended the Professional Children's School and later studied at Fordham University.
